Route Z in Cape Girardeau County Closed for Bridge Replacement
SIKESTON – Route Z in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as construction crews replace the bridge over Hubble Creek.
This section of roadway is located from West Clark Street to County Road 222 near Gordonville, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take begin Monday, Aug. 24 with anticipated completion Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2027. The work zone will be in place 24 hours a day until the project is complete.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
