NB I-55 in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Bridge Maintenance
SIKESTON –Northbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
The section of roadway is located between mile marker 113.2 and mile marker 114.4.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
